PEAK PODCAST PERSPECTIVE
"We didn't just start a podcast service — we lived through every mistake, breakthrough, and late-night edit session that shapes how we work with you today."
— The founding team, reflecting on 2019

The Story Behind Every Episode We Touch

Peak Podcast Perspective didn't emerge from a business plan. It grew from a microphone in a spare room, a stack of rejected pitches, and the stubborn belief that every voice deserves professional-grade sound. This page isn't a brochure — it's a timeline. Walk through the milestones that shaped our craft, and decide where your podcast fits into the next chapter.

Milestones That Built Our Studio

Spring 2019 · The Spark

First Recording in a Converted Attic

Two founders, one condenser mic, and a borrowed laptop. Our first episode had background noise from a washing machine. That humbling start taught us everything about acoustic fundamentals — lessons we now pass on to every client before they record a single word.

Lesson: Environment matters more than equipment
Autumn 2019 · The Pivot

First Paid Client — A Local History Podcast

A retired teacher from Cork approached us to produce a six-episode series on forgotten Irish landmarks. We charged almost nothing, but the discipline of delivering on a deadline transformed our process. That series reached listeners in fourteen countries and still gets downloads today.

Result: 14 countries reached with zero marketing budget
Early 2020 · The Reckoning

Remote Production Forced Our Hand

When the world locked down, we had to rebuild our entire workflow for remote recording. We tested nineteen different software configurations in three weeks. The result was a remote production pipeline that our clients still use — and that competitors later copied.

19 configurations tested · 1 pipeline survived
Late 2020 · The Investment

Studio Build-Out in East Eric

We converted a ground-floor commercial unit into a proper studio space. Acoustic panels, isolation booth, dedicated mixing desk. It wasn't glamorous — we did most of the construction ourselves — but it meant we could finally offer in-person recording sessions with broadcast-quality output.

2021 · The Method

We Codified Our Production Framework

After producing over sixty episodes for various clients, patterns emerged. We documented our approach into a repeatable framework: concept shaping, script architecture, recording protocol, edit passes, mastering, and distribution. This framework became the backbone of every engagement since.

Framework: 6 stages · 3 quality gates · 1 standard
2022 · The Growth

Distribution Partnerships and Audience Strategy

Production alone wasn't enough. Clients needed listeners. We built relationships with podcast directories, developed show-note SEO strategies, and created audiogram workflows for social platforms. One client's show went from 200 to 6,800 monthly listeners in five months using our distribution playbook.

"They didn't just make our show — they made people find it." — D. Hennessy, tech podcast host
2023 · The Expansion

Corporate and Branded Podcast Division

Businesses started asking for internal podcasts, branded series, and thought-leadership audio. We launched a dedicated corporate track with different pricing, faster turnarounds, and compliance-aware editing for regulated industries. Three financial services firms signed within the first quarter.

2024–Present · The Refinement

Where We Stand Now

We've produced content across true crime, education, wellness, business strategy, fiction, and documentary formats. Our studio handles everything from solo narration to multi-guest panel shows. And we're still learning — every project teaches us something we fold back into the framework.

Not Every Studio Works This Way

Most podcast production houses hand you a template and a deadline. We start with a conversation about what your podcast is actually trying to accomplish. Is it a lead generation tool? A creative outlet? An internal communications channel? A public education project?

The answer changes everything — from episode length to release cadence to how we structure your show notes. We've seen too many podcasts fail because the production was competent but the strategy was absent.

That's why our timeline matters. Every milestone above shaped a specific part of how we serve you today.

Capability Route Map — What We Handle at Each Stage
Stage What Happens Your Involvement Typical Duration

Which Path Fits Your Podcast?

Starting From Zero

You have an idea but no recordings, no hosting, no artwork. We take you from blank page to published episode, handling concept development, branding guidance, pilot production, and platform launch. Most new shows are live within six weeks.

Already Recording, Need Polish

You've been self-producing but the audio quality, pacing, or listener numbers aren't where you want them. We audit your existing episodes, identify the friction points, and take over post-production while you focus on content and guests.

Corporate or Branded Series

Your organisation wants a podcast for thought leadership, internal culture, or client engagement. We handle the additional complexity — compliance review, brand voice alignment, stakeholder approvals, and enterprise-grade hosting with analytics dashboards.

One-Off Production

A single documentary episode, a conference recording, a special anniversary feature. Not every project needs an ongoing retainer. We scope one-off engagements with fixed pricing and clear deliverables.

Questions We Hear Along the Way

These come up at different points in the timeline — from first inquiry to mid-season production.

Do I need my own equipment to get started?
No. If you're recording in our East Eric studio, we provide everything. For remote recording, we'll recommend a specific microphone and headphone setup based on your budget — usually under €120 total. We also send a configuration guide so your home setup sounds as clean as possible.
How involved do I need to be in post-production?
As little or as much as you want. Some clients approve a final master and never listen to rough cuts. Others want to hear every edit pass. We adapt to your preference, though we do require sign-off before publishing to ensure you're happy with the final product.
Can you help with a podcast that's already underperforming?
Absolutely. We start with an audit of your existing episodes, analytics, and distribution setup. Often the issues are structural — inconsistent release schedule, weak show notes, poor audio on specific episodes, or missing directory listings. We've turned around shows that were about to be abandoned.
What formats do you deliver final files in?
Standard delivery is WAV master + MP3 at 128kbps CBR (the podcast standard) + chapter-marked M4A if applicable. We also provide transcripts in plain text and SRT formats, plus audiogram video files in MP4 for social media use.
Is there a minimum commitment?
For ongoing production, we typically work in blocks of six episodes. This gives enough runway to establish quality and rhythm. But we also handle one-off projects and pilot episodes with no ongoing obligation.
